We love The North Shore and have hiked Na Pali Coast many times. Each time is unique and inspiring. Be sure to go to Bar Acuda for dinner. And ask a local how to get to Secret Beach on the North Shore. A short hike to a wild place where if you’re lucky you can see seals sunning up close.
The quote you shared resonates a lot. As does the theme of slowing down! The last months have been a whirlwind for me and as a result I’ve been super inconsistent with writing and reading. Coming back to your newly titled (or not so newly titled - I’m just late getting to it!) is a real pleasure. Thanks for reminding me that writing is a way to tune in and be present 🙏🏽
The Na Pali coast is one of my favorite places on earth. If you get a chance, The Beach House restaurant in Poipu has a fantastic view for sunset, and really good food as of 2011 🤣
It's funny for such a small island that you kinda stay rooted to the north or south. We were there for 3 weeks around Poipu and only managed one day up near Hanalei! It's like wherever you are is paradise, so why leave?! 😂

Thanks, Stan!

Yes! Writing can absolutely be a mindfulness/awareness practice. Welcome back to it, Sophie!

Thanks! Yeah, I don't think we'll make it to Poipu on this trip--we've been pretty rooted on the north shore. Perhaps next time, though! :)

Lovely picture. What a stunning place where you get to bring some magic to your gathered friends.
