Wow Christopher. How exciting for you and Chelsea. Having lived in rural Kauai for 20+ years, I know your desire to be with the trees, bugs, animals, birds. It definitely does the nervous system a world of good. And what a boon for you and your daughter. Dad will be close by but with plenty of room for her own adventures. Best wishes on the move and new chapter. Love, Lucinda

Thank you, Lucinda! Yes, Kauai and Humboldt County have a lot in common, as beautiful natural areas that tend to draw spiritual seekers. Our nervous systems are very much looking forward to the change of pace.

Congratulations Chris. Moving is such a primally potent activity that opens the door for reinvention, fresh perspective and new beginnings. It's also a pain in the ass. I'm wishing for you that the majority of your experience involves the better half of the equation. : )

Thank you, Rick! So far, we're managing to deal with the stressful logistics while simultaneously continuing to feel excited. It's a lesson in being able to hold both sides of a paradox :)

Congratulations Chris on such a wonderful move.

Two phrases stood out to me, inspired by own north star:

- that you would be closer to your daughter during her "growth" period

- being immersed in the ancient forests.

What an amazing journey!
